The first long distance sailing passage was with a good friend Ron to the Portsoy Traditional Boat Festival in 2005, I knew Ron through the rugby club we were both members of. I discovered later that his wife was related to me. His boat, Capella - which he built himself in his back garden, was a design based on a traditional Suffolk Shrimper, a beautiful looking boat. We sailed for a number of years together up and down Scotland. When I was looking for my own boat he told me that he had given up sailing andI could have her if I wanted her.
This first album is the voyage to Portsot taing in Anstruther, Arbroath, Peterhead and Whitehills.
