In previous years, we have headed for Glenarm, but this year, with the strong spring tides, it made more sense to make the most of them and head west to Ballycastle first. We spent a couple of nights in Ballycastle before we set off south for Glenrm for the night and then on to Bangor the following day.

Since 2022, Alan and I have been joined by our mutual friend Hamish for our annual trip to Northern Ireland. The weather has been kind to us in previous years, and this year was no exception. This is the first part of the passage leaving Scotland and arriving in Northern Ireland.

My nephew visited from Skye over the weekend and we had a great session in Diggers on Friday. On Saturday we went to The Port Of Leith Distillery for a whisky tasting with Ardnamurchan.
